Season 2 homeland tpb4/6/2023 ![]() ![]() Nobody could say this show wasn't doing stuff. Brody was in CIA custody, at rock bottom, and Carrie was already bouncing back from her own rock-bottom escapade when she'd swallowed a bunch of pills and a bottle or two of wine. (She's funny that way.) By episode five, "Q&A," the season hit its high point. (And later, in a brilliant turn of events, Homeland surprised us with the confession tape again in the Season 2 finale anyway, after we'd all forgotten about it!) And things snowballed from there, with Carrie and Saul initiating surveillance of Brody, which was very quickly followed by Carrie's smacking down the man who ruined her life but who she also loves. What most of us figured would take all season - the reveal of what happened to Brody's confession tape from last year and who had it - instead became a Season 2 surprise, as Saul stumbled upon the goods in just the second episode and realized that, yes, Carrie had been right all along. Six Things You Need to Know About the Homeland Season 2 Finale (and Season 3)It all began on the rather amazing side though, with Gansa and Gordon making the decision from the get-go to forge ahead with plot as quickly as possible, never languishing on one particular piece of story for too long. ![]()
